Photo of the day…Look at those eyelashes!!

Elephants – I love them. I love the texture of their skin, they way they walk, and their beautiful, gentle nature.

These two Asian elephants were photographed at Western Plains zoo at Dubbo.

Will you look at the length of those eyelashes? I mean seriously, she is such a gorgeous animal. ūüôā

I couldn’t resist the ‘shot from behind’ with the swingin tail….

What do you love about elephants?

Photo of the day….Black & white of a black & white!

Sometimes photos just work. I mean all the ducks line up, all you have to do is press the shutter.

I love zebras. I love the way they are unique and no two are alike!

This photo was taken at Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.

I composed the photograph, and just at the right moment, he bent his front leg Рas if he knew Р and I took the shot!

I converted the photo to black and white. I really love the tones and the contrast.

What do you think?

A Day with the animals….Taronga Zoo, Sydney, Australia

I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Sydney, Australia. Recently I spent the day at Taronga Zoo which is situated on the foreshore of our glorious harbour.

I am always keen to get out and about with my camera and I LOVE checking out all the animals….

My favourite animals on the day were the giraffes, baby elephants and the snow leopard..

A lot of these shots were relatively easy to execute….Others quite difficult – shooting through wire fences, glass and over the top of people!

Enjoy the photos and I’d love to know what your favourite animal is to photograph?
