I’ve had a super busy week.
I took Tuesday off though 🙂 and went to Nowra on the South Coast of NSW. I’d forgotten how wonderful it is to take off out of the city and appreciate the beautiful green countryside.
It is really good for your soul….
Looking for somewhere for lunch, we stumbled upon
Silos Estate, a beautiful winery situated just minutes from Berry on the Princes Highway.
What a gorgeous place. The only problem was it was blowing a gale. And I mean seriously blowing a gale.
We had a fantastic lunch, drank some very morish wine and then set off to take some photos of the glorious vineyards and landscapes around us..
Enjoy the pics and have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Set amongst rolling paddock and vines, the Bellarine peninsula is home to some of Australia’s best boutique wineries.
This growing tourist region is located south west of Melbourne, Australia.
The wine is good. Really good.
But the scenery is spectacular. 🙂
I love this photograph.
It has many layers – the posts and dormant vines in the foreground, and the rain on the mountains across Phillip Bay in the background.

Mudgee is a beautiful historic town situated in central western NSW, Australia.
It is well known for its award winning wines but also offers gourmet food, stunning scenery and lots of great places to stay.
I photographed the town itself, and then took a drive to check out some of the wineries.
I came across this scene at the side of the road.
Just laying around, not a care in the world….. 🙂

I really had forgotten how beautiful the Hunter Valley was. I recently shot a couple of weddings up there, so I had some time to have a good look around.
These photographs are of the original Wyndham Estate homestead – Dalwood House. This beautiful home was built in the early 1800’s and is currently undergoing restoration.
I spent about an hour wandering around the property taking photos and imagining what it must have been like here, all those years ago……
beautiful home from days gone bye.
When Des Kelly, the owner of wine2home.com.au asked me to come to Melbourne to photograph some shots for his new website, I jumped at the chance. He is an online business, based in Geelong, Victoria and sells wine from the beautiful Bellarine Penninsula. His website is up and running and the specials are fantastic!! Here are a selection of the photos from a very picturesque part of Victoria.
