As a photographer, I love to explore the country side.
This photo was taken on a road trip from Mudgee to Hill End, NSW.
Its classic Australian landscape.
Beautiful isn’t it?

Hill End is a former gold mining town in the heart of central west NSW.
To me it is a very special place. It reminds me of my childhood and all the camping trips we used to do around this part of NSW with my Father.
It is also rich in history and during the gold rush of the 1850’s was a thriving town.
Modern day Hill End still holds all its charm and is a fabulous place to visit.
This photograph was taken on the outskirts of town during Autumn, my favourite season of the year…….

Hill End is a former gold mining town located in Central Western NSW, Australia.
I have photographed around this area many times, but stumbled upon this scene as we were driving away from the village.
I just had to stop and take just a few shots 🙂
Last night was the Arts Preview evening for this years Sydney Royal Easter Show. I entered 4 photographs into the show this year and am very proud to say that I won 2nd prize in the Rural Section!!! I also won $600 in prize money 🙂 and am absolutely wrapped with the result!!
The image was taken at Sofala NSW.
