I love to photograph all sorts of architecture and structures.
During 2010/11 I studied my Cert IV in photoimaging at Ultimo Tafe.
Each fortnight we were given a topic to interpret and photograph.
This photo was submitted for the topic ‘opposites’…
I like the juxtaposition between the old terrace house and the newer Hotel in the background.
I layed on the ground to get just the right angle for this photo…..
Thats what you do to get the shot 🙂

The Empire State Building New York. Classic. Iconic. Well photographed.
This shot was taken from a boat on The East River on a cold winters day.
Black and white photography is timeless and ageless. It goes hand in hand with architectural photography.
A client purchased this print from me to hang as pride of place in her home.
I could sit and look at this shot all day long…. 🙂
I’ve only ever been to New York once – and its still the city that I think about going back to every single day..
Manhattan is a feast for the senses – skyscrapers, noise, traffic, colour, people..its all around you…
Trump Tower is a 58 storey skyscraper located on Fifth Ave, Midtown Manhattan…
I love the perspective of this shot and the clear, blue sky….
There is nothing I love more than having a day out with my photography mates and my camera. A few of us decided to explore The Rocks area – a beautiful area of Sydney rich in history. Here are some of my favourite shots from the day. Remember to click on the photo to enlarge it.
