The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most iconic suspension bridges in the world.
Here, shrouded in fog, you can see one of the two main suspension cables.
These cables are 2.33 km long and nearly a metre in diameter.
We walked the bridge on a cold, foggy San Francisco Day.
I photographed a whole series of the bridge in sepia. It just seems to enhance the mood of the photograph…
What do you think?

I love photographing bridges. This photo was taken on the Brooklyn Bridge, New York on a VERY bleak winters day.
Completed in 1883, this suspension bridge spans the East River between Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York City.
It has six lanes for vehicles and a separate, raised pathway for use by pedestrians and cyclists.
I loved the wires, cables, the rust and the sound of the traffic beneath us as we walked across to Brooklyn.
What a magnificent structure….
Have you walked the Brooklyn Bridge? I’d love to hear from you. Please leave a comment below or follow this blog 🙂
